Where
Our Troop is chartered by River City Church in DeBary, Florida. The meetings are held at the church through the back entrance. The address is 267 E Highbanks Rd, Debary, FL 32713. If you are interested in attending a meeting please reach out to us so we know when to expect you.
When
The Troop year begins in August and ends in May. We meet each week on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm, with a few breaks for Troop Committee Meetings and Holidays. Once a member, you'll have access to the Troop calendar which outlines every meeting throughout the year.
Committee Meetings
About once a month we hold a Troop Committee Meeting instead of a regular troop meeting. We welcome any registered adult to participate, however it is optional. Parents may bring their children, if desired, to fellowship with one another, work on crafts, or complete independent badge work.
Field Trips
Occasionally we have field trips and service days scheduled outside of our troop meeting times. We encourage you to participate in these events as often as you are able, as sometimes they are necessary to complete a badge.
Camping
We plan around 2 camping trips each troop year. These trips may involve Trail Life or family camping. Trips are organized either at campgrounds or on private property. Girls must have a registered adult with them to attend.
Absences
If you have to miss a meeting or field trip, then you may need to reach out to your daughter’s Unit Leader to make up the badge work completed during the missed meeting so your daughter can stay on track to complete the badge with the Troop.
